VAT returns

Lowering your bills

VAT covers so many aspects of your business. Whether it’s charging specific rates on goods and services, reverse charging or even having to go through the rigmarole of registering with HMRC.

This is why getting it right the first time is crucial. Failing to do so can set you back and cause issues in your working relationship with HMRC.

As a business, once you reach the £85,000 annual turnover, you must register for VAT. That said, you can voluntarily register before reaching this threshold if you expect to exceed the limit.

There could even come a time when you have to deregister your work’s VAT scheme. We can do this for you.

We’ll also take control of your filing and reporting to HMRC. This will cut out any possibility of a late return and save you the stress of undergoing an investigation, not to mention the costly fines.

Now businesses must also pay their VAT bills through Making Tax Digital (MTD) software. We’ve got your back if you aren’t fully versed in this new process.
